National Stop Snoring Week has been launched by the British Snoring and Sleep Apnoea Association to draw attention and raise awareness to solving a huge problem.

We all know how annoying it is, but it’s solving it is not always so simple! So what is the cause of snoring?   Well, there are more reasons than you might realise.

Eating too much, drinking a lot of alcohol and allergies can all irritate and block your nasal passage and airways.  For a full list of causes and more information, visit the National Stop Snoring Week website.

This year the theme of the week will be ‘Can new technology stop the nation from snoring’.  If you visit the British Snoring & Sleep Apnoea website you can take part in a UK survey into how phone apps can be used to help.  But you’ll need to be quick the survey only runs until the end of March 2018 and the results will be announced during National Stop Snoring Week 2018.

So find out what’s at the root of your snoring habits, break them and start to breath easier!
